Bill Chapman is President of Bill Chapman Enterprises (BCE), a development company specializing in adaptive re-use projects.
BCE was founded by Bill Chapman in November 2006. As a 19-year resident of Richmond, Virginia, Chapman has played a central role in the capital city's downtown renaissance, most recently as the president of Fountainhead Development. During his tenure with Fountainhead, Chapman spearheaded 13 adaptive re-use projects. Chapman's projects have been critically acclaimed for their modern approach, sustainable design and residential demand.
Through BCE, Chapman has expanded beyond Richmond and into the Roanoke market, where the company has completed the Fulton Motor Lofts project. There are also additional plans for adaptive re-use projects in Roanoke, Richmond and outside Virginia.
BCE is committed to being a hands-on leader and creative force in its communities. Chapman currently serves on the Board of Directors of Venture Richmond, a partnership between the City of Richmond and downtown business leaders that markets the downtown landscape. Chapman has also held board positions for The River District Alliance and the Shockoe Bottom Merchants Association.

Prataap Patrose has been with the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) for 23 years and has been the Director for Urban Design for the last 4 years. The BRA is Boston's planning and development agency where he is responsible for coordinating the design review of projects of all scales and sizes in the city of Boston, and providing the urban design framework for a wide variety of large scale urban planning initiatives downtown and in the neighborhoods.
Cross section of recent significant projects he is involved in include: The Seaport District (1,000 acres) planning and implementation, Design Guidelines for the Rose Kennedy Greenway District, design review of Columbus Center a 1 mil sq ft mixed use development over a highway, re-branding of Downtown Crossing in Boston, and the review of 115 Winthrop Square a 1,000 ft tower in the Financial District.
He has been a guest critic and speaker on urban design, at MIT, Harvard University, Roger Williams College RI, and Boston Architectural Center. He has presented at numerous national as well as international conferences. In 2007 Mr. Patrose was invited to the Annual Editorial Advisory Board meeting of Contract magazine and was profiled in the Feb 2008 issue of the magazine. Mr. Patrose was also the Keynote Speaker at the 2006 ULI winter conference in Tokyo, Japan. In 2006 he was one of four panelists from the US at a conference in England. In 2005 he was on the selection committee for MIT's Kevin Lynch Award and BSA/AIA Urban Design Awards. He serves on the Board of the Boston Center for the Arts. He is commissioner on the Boston Arts Commission. He was recipient of the BRA's award for excellence in 1986.
Prataap is a trained professional life and business coach. He has organized major public art installations for First Night Boston, BCA, and at MIT. His op-ed pieces on urban design and planning issues have been extensively published in The Gloucester Daily Times, Boston Globe, The Herald Tribune, The China Daily, The Financial Times of London, and The Guardian of London.
He received his Masters in Environmental Design from MIT in 1984, after receiving a Bachelors of Architecture from School of Planning and Architecture in India., magna cum laude.

Patrick Clay - Office of Santiago Calatrava

Patrick Clay is trained as an architect, receiving his Bachelors of Architecture from Virginia Tech in 2006. He has worked with SOM, KPF and FX FOWL Architects in New York City on a wide array of project types for which he has been recognized for his intuition in resolving complex geometric forms and spaces. Patrick currently works with renowned Spanish architect and engineer, Santiago Calatrava, in his New York Studio where he manages the building workshop and works directly with Mr. Calatrava on digital and physical model studies. He is a member of the project team responsible for the design of Calatrava’s $2.2 billion World Trade Center Transportation Terminal in New York City. Patrick's participation brings a unique and youthful insight to the competition.

Seab Tuck is a founding partner of Tuck-Hinton Architects. Born in Roanoke, Virginia, he received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Auburn University.
Since the founding of Tuck-Hinton Architects in 1984, Seab and his partner Kem Hinton have designed a significant range of projects from private residences to schools, from collegiate buildings to civic structures, and from museums to commemorative parks. Their major projects include numerous projects for Lipscomb and Vanderbilt Universities, Brooks Fiber Communications Headquarters in St. Louis, the Farmers' Market and Tennessee Bicentennial Capitol Mall, Warner Bros. Records Headquarters, the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum and the Nashville Public Square. Current projects include the Charlotte, North Carolina Federal Courthouse and the Music City Convention Center.
Seab is a founding member of The Nashville Urban Design Forum, and founding board member of the Nashville Civic Design Center; he was president of this group when the ambitious "Plan of Nashville" study was initiated. He is a member of Leadership Nashville, Leadership Middle Tennessee, the Arts at the Airport Board, Cumberland Region Tomorrow, and the Auburn University School of Architecture Executive Committee.
For creativity in design and contributions to the profession, both Tuck and partner Hinton were inducted into the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects in 1998.
Seab resides in Franklin, Tennessee with his wife, Patti. They have two grown daughters, Tricia and Adrianne.
