Roanoke Urban Effect is an International design competition that sprang from the hope and vision of a group of young design professionals who knew their city could be greater than the sum of its parts. The competition challenges design professionals and students to look beyond the traditional urban planning model to present innovative and inspired ideas that encourage a more vibrant, dynamic and sustainable urban environment in the City of Roanoke.

Important Participant Information
As a competition participant, each individual entrant will receive one (1) General Admission ticket to the Awards Party on November 15, 2008. Each team entry will receive two (2) General Admission tickets to the Awards Party. Those planning to attend individually or on behalf of your team will need to RSVP with their full name to questions@roanokeurbaneffect.org by November 12, 2008 so we have their names on the Will Call list. Additional tickets may be purchased on-line prior to the event (below). Students purchasing tickets need to bring a valid student id to receive entry. Tickets may also be purchased at the door the night of the event however there will be an additional charge of $15.
VIP Tickets: $60 in advance Only
General Admission: $30 in Advance
Student Tickets: $15 in Advance (with valid id)
General Admission: $45 at Door
Student Tickets: $25 at Door (with valid id)
